RCC Community Trust
Charity: Riverina Cancer Care Community Trust is a not-for-profit registered charity that a group of volunteers established in early 2002 (ACN 089 360 378). This Trust facilitated the community's fundraising efforts to build our Riverina Cancer Care Centre. None of this would have been possible without the partnership and land donation of The Little Company of Mary Health Care (Calvary Riverina). The Trust now provides “landlord” support, in assisting with maintenance and improvements to the centre.
Cause: Riverina Cancer Care Centre was built almost 23 years ago. Since then, patient numbers have dramatically increased and it is time for expansion. The Trust is striving to almost double the capacity of the centre’s treatment room to reduce wait times, enhance care and give patients the comfort and dignity they deserve. I am fundraising to help make this vision a reality because no one should face cancer alone, and every dollar brings us closer to hope, healing, and a promising future.
